Flowers or not?

That is the question  FOR MY BLOG, THE BACKGROUND.
ladies, I'm talking about my blog.

I'm NOT talking about Mother's day.  I think for Mother's day, anything goes,
especially homemade cards!

  1. I always say yes to flowers. Many people don't, but flowers make me smile. And they distract me from my messy house. :)

  2. Yes, but the ones that you can plant! I usually get to go to the nursery and pick out my favorites. My hubby and kids know that. That way we have cut flowers, too.

    1. I wait to get flowers on Memorial day or maybe that week before...otherwise, it's too cold here.

  3. Didn't see about the blog part. It's still early. Yes, flowers. Your blog is a sunny place and definitely needs something. All white doesn't reflect my visions of you.

    1. Awwww, Tina Marie, you are the sweetest. I know, I want to be a all white blog--black and white clean lines, with big pictures...but it just doesn't feel right....

    1. Shelly--you are the greatest, these words just come out of you, and they are so healing and rejuvenating! I picked some...hope you like these. I tried to be a white blog with large pictures, it just doesn't feel like me.

  5. Flowers are always nice.

And I love the way you dedicated your blog to Our Lady! Because of that, I'm sure only good things will come of it!

  6. Kids got to plant flowers in kindergarten, okay teacher mixed in grass, so something would grow, but I still got a plant! I hinted strongly for a new food processor - but I got a lovely homemade poem from my oldest, the "grass" from my kindergartener, and a bag of "stuff" from my 4Ker - with a rubber band to hold us together, a Hershey's kiss to show me she loves me, and a tissue for all the times I've helped her cry. She did want to eat my candy, though!

    1. Oh, how sweet Traci--beautiful treasures! I can't wait to see my kids pictures, they worked on them the other day and wouldn't let me come into the room!

    1. Arley, you bet she can!! Especially on Mother's day! I thought the same thing today, I'd love the house to be cleaned and stay that way for like 4 hours. But then, I'd have to be alone. And I don't want that! Happy Mother's day Arley!

  8. Yes, yes, yes - Jamie you epitomize having flowers on your blog. You are always so bright, and sunny, and positive... Even when talking about depressing or serious topics, you keep a positive outlook. (Look at your Thankful Thursday posts, for goodness sake. You can find the sunshine on any cloudy day!) :-D

I love all white - in the right place, but not on your blog.
Blessings, and Happy Mother's Day to you!

    1. OH, Lori, you are too sweet! Thank you. I think I'm liking these simple pink flowers! I tried the white for, um, just over nite and a little this morning and it bugged me too much. I am woman, hear me roar, I have a personality! (not that people with white do not have personality, I admire that simplicity, really I do!)

Happy Mother's day to you too Lori--God bless you! Want to stop in on your way to the conference, for a potty break? I'll even clean the bathroom for you!

    2. You'll clean your bathroom just for me?! I feel so honored!! :-) Thanks!!!!

  9. I think beautiful Jamie = flowers. You are a sunshiny person and your blog reveals that, so something bright and beautiful (like flowers) are a good background choice for you. Happy Mother's Day to one of the dearest ladies I know! May you be given many homemade cards and perhaps some flowers too :)

ps...are you going to the conference or only offering potty break pit stops at your place?? lol.

  10. Oh, thanks Sarah! Went with the flowers...just can't be plain white--I tried, really I did. I hope your mother's day is bright and beautiful and full of sloppy baby kisses and some flowers too!

Potty break pit stop only. (I might offer a snack or something)
It's just too hard to get away, hard on the kids and on me! We've had enough (surgeries) times this past year of disruption!
